I thoroughly enjoyed taking photographs for the Falmouth Museums on the Green houses during its annual Holiday Open House this weekend. The Falmouth Garden Club adorned the nooks and crannies of the historic Julia Wood House with Christmas greens and arrangements, as they have done for many years. New this year, over forty volunteers from the Falmouth Newcomers Club decorated the Conant House as well.  Congratulations to both clubs for an outstanding job!

My husband and I enjoyed a one-day vacation exploring Orleans, Truro and Wellfleet yesterday during the best month on Cape Cod. One of our discoveries was a hidden architectural treasure right at Rock Harbor in Orleans – the Church of the Transfiguration.  Built just ten years ago, the sanctuary is an amazing artistic achievement. Here are some images taken during a brief public tour.
